December 2009 Julie Davis Update

"It has been a full season since my last update, with many new things happening. Remember me mentioning that I was really seeking God for new direction? Well God revealed to me that it is the church’s responsibility to look after the orphans and the widows, and not just me with a small team trying to feed many many orphans in the Sofala province!

June 2009 Julie Davis Update

“After a wonderful season of rest and restoration with my family in Canada in November and December 2008, I am back and starting my third year here with my Dondo family. God is really stretching and maturing me through different situations. These last four months I personally have had a lot of challenges and hard things that God has allowed me to walk through. I do thank the Lord for these seasons of shaking and purifying. My first trip on the first day of mercy ministry (food distribution) in Cheringoma, God ‘gave’ us a double rainbow!!!

March 2008 Julie Davis Update

This last season included an extended visit 'home' to Canada. While I had planned to return to Mozambique at the beginning of October, due to visa issues I was not able to return until December 11, 2007. The good news is that I now have my residency visa - praise the Lord!! The wait in Canada was not easy for me, but I put my trust in the Lord's timing.

September 2007 Julie Davis Update

“As was mentioned in the March update, God has given us two new vehicles. God's timing is always perfect. As you all know, we struggled amidst the major flooding of the Zambezia River, and the trucks were very useful for carrying emergency supplies to all of our precious Mozambican families who had lost everything. I stayed in Dondo organizing truck loads of items for the missionaries who were out in the flood areas. We did our best to get food and blankets to those in need, as quickly as possible.

March 2007 Julie Davis Update

"As I wrote in February, we have been believing God for a new truck and we knew that it was on it's way! Praise God - we are receiving a brand new land rover and a half ton truck. Now we will have lots of room for food distribution and for all of our equipment. I am soooo excited!!! God is sooo faithful."

February 2007 Julie Davis Update

"The past months have flown by very quickly. Wow!!! Here is a little account of what has been going on in Dondo. November was very busy, as I was in charge of hospitality as we prepared for a large outreach conference. Many visitors and guest speakers came to help us, for which we were so grateful. Approximately 3,500 were at the meetings. It was great and the Holy Spirit really fell on us, especially on the Bible school students on graduation day. It was really precious.
