October 2018 Zimpeto Widows' Home Update

One of Iris catch phrases is “Stop for the One”. The bible says that the purest form of religion is to care for orphans and widows.

IMC built a beautiful widows house, with space for 8 widows. We provide full time care for two, as most of the elderly do not want to leave their community; we care for many others through neighbors.

The original widow’s house is used for another IMC project now - bible school housing for our female students. We moved Madeline into the small house next door, where the female bible students visit her every day.

We have an awesome team of 3 who care for the 2 widows and love them with all of their heart. What a blessing! Who cares? We do and Jesus does.
