September 2020 Zimpeto General Update

It has been quite the six month period worldwide as the coronavirus has shut borders, closed schools and churches, and seen businesses shut down.

Although the official death count is small in Mozambique, the country has suffered enormously with little medical or Government support.

Food prices have increased by 40%, as have medical and building supplies, and most goods that we require and use on a day by day basis in Maputo.

Still God is faithful! IMC has continued to support all of our projects. Although some have continued in a limited way, we have still been able to serve hundreds each week.

Programs such as the infant milk, community food boxes, carpentry/sewing and widow support have continued as normal. Bible school has been a mixture of online teaching and students coming to receive notes.

Once again, this pandemic has demonstrated the need for more of Jesus in our lives....even more so.

Blessings and thanks for your continued love, support and encouragement of the Zimpeto projects.
