Greetings to every friend of Iris Ministries Canada!
We are celebrating 2025! What a great joy it is to partner with you in serving "the least of these" around the world, and to visit four of the places where God is at work through Iris Ministries Canada. We began our journey at a conference with hungry leaders from a creative-access nation. It was both humbling and inspiring to witness their deep longing for more of God. In Cambodia, we spent time playing with street children along a busy riverside walkway. Later that same day, Joanna had the opportunity to visit a young woman working in Phnom Penh’s red-light district. Iris missionaries and Cambodian social workers continue to stop for each one, showing God's love in some of the hardest places. When we returned to Malawi, we were able to encourage the team there and see the ongoing ministry among children, prisoners, the elderly, the blind and lame, and the local churches. Our final stop was the Zimpeto base in Mozambique, where we witnessed the excellent work being done at the Bible school, the well-baby clinic, and in the training and mentoring of young people who are being equipped to serve and strengthen their communities.

- For job training and employment opportunities for Iris graduates
- For increased resources for education and food in Malawi, where extreme inflation makes daily needs difficult to meet
- For new IMC missionaries, Joel and Kailee Fabok and their children, as they await final paperwork before moving to Dondo, Mozambique
