September 2011 Zimpeto Bible School Update

“We have had another awesome term with many Holy Spirit encounters as his presence falls upon us during regular class times. Unfortunately we don't take our camera to classes in order to be able to share those moments with you. We would however like to share a few of the highlights from our most recent graduation at the Zimpeto Bible School.

“The teachers have an opportunity to address the students before we eat the Festa (cake, cookies etc.) that we've prepared for everyone to enjoy. By graduation day we've also prepared a special bag for each student with clothing and other items that they can take home with them, along with a large sack of rice.

[Sandra is sharing her heart with the students one last time before we start the Festa.]

“You may remember from previous updates that we had a student, TChefo, who was able to return to bible school after being healed from TB. He is seen here enjoying the graduation Festa with another leader of many churches, Pastor Orlando. These two men were a great blessing during the term, bringing great wisdom and insight to the classes.

"After the Festa we went from the classroom over to the Prayer Hut, where we  worshipped and prayed for the students. Pastor Pedro, below, on the left (see more info in our personal update) is praying for one of the students, while Paulo (whose wedding we shared about last year) is down on his knees in worship.

"We praise God for the privilege of serving him as we help to train these wonderful Mozambican leaders. We are grateful for the financial assistance that IMC provides to the Zimpeto Bible School. Thank you for your generous donations. Through these leaders, many are being reached with the Gospel."
