April 2013 Zimpeto Widows' Home Project Update
Anabel, the Mother who we moved into the Widows House temporarily, was given funding and training in how to set up and run a small business; she moved out last month. Anabel still attends our church and when we saw her last week she said she has moved out of our house but not out of our hearts.
Vovo Salima is living on her own again, as Vovo Rosalina moved back to her own house, even though we are still supporting and providing care for her. Salima has a helper, Elina, who lives nearby and comes during the week to do her laundry, clean and cook for her. As the house is close to the Iris Centre, it is very easy to take children to visit Salima. We visit quite regularly and she is always pleased to see the children.
